Preparing to Reopen

A letter from Steve Borley, a Llanrumney Hall Trustee:

We have been working very hard behind the scenes to develop a plan to welcome you all back to the Llanrumney Hall.

We are closely monitoring advice from the Welsh Government and guidance on lockdown and the pathway to reopening the community facility.

The safety of the staff, user groups and visitors remain our priority. When we reopen this will be on a phased basis acting upon guidance from Welsh Government and our protocols and risk assessments are being developed in readiness for this.

We will be dependent on the support of the community to observe the measures which will be necessary to allow the Hall to reopen safely.

We will also be bringing staff back off furlough in a phased plan and you will be pleased to learn all staff were retained. We will be updating you with all the information via the website and social media platforms.

In the meantime, we would be pleased to receive feedback on activities and events you would like to run when we return to some form of normality. We would also like to hear of any measures you would like us to build into our safety protocols. Please leave your suggestions below or click the link to our website in the comments.

Regards,

Steve Borley
