After an incredibly fun, busy and eventful 6 weeks, the children's summer programme has come to an end.
The programme was drawn up in the eleventh hour and so we didn't know which way it would go but thanks to our LHCT staff, the amazing team at Cardiff and Vale College and of course the community of Llanrumney for their support, the programme was a success!
We had dozens of children show up at The Hall to participate in games, exercise, music workshops, creative play sessions, arts and crafts clubs, gardening, African drumming and more and it was great to see so many new faces.
We would like to thank Cardiff and Vale College for kindly funding this initiative in Cardiff East and working with us in delivering this programme.
There are already talks between ourselves and the college to look into developing more programme similar to this going forward and that is only due to how well it was received and supported by the local people so thank you again for showing up every week!
