Citizen’s Advisors of Cardiff and Vale College will be at Llanrumney Hall every Thursday from April 6th for 6 weeks between 9:30am - 1pm. No booking required – it’s a walk-in service!
According to Citizens Advice, many people are unaware of the benefits they may be entitled to that could offer them the support that they need, and Citizen's Advisors can point you in the right direction to receiving this support.
Subjects that you’ll be able to receive free and confidential advice on are:
Welfare Benefits
Debt
Employment
Education
Housing
Immigration
Discrimination
Advice on all the above matters can also include support in the completion of forms or drafting correspondence, providing sample letters, and other sorts of guidance.
This is a great opportunity for those who are struggling financially to find out how your situation can be improved, but also for those who are looking for this sort of advice in general. Keep the dates in your diaries guys and remember, you don’t have to be a Pantry member to access this service – anyone is welcome!
