Easter Half Term at Llanrumney Hall

We’re excited to be bringing you another fun-filled Easter half term at Llanrumney Hall! If you’re looking for ways to keep the kids entertained or something for the whole family to enjoy, we’ve got plenty planned.

Arts & Crafts

Dates & Times:

Monday 30th March: 10 am – 12pm

Tuesday 31st March: 10am – 12pm

Come along for a fun Arts & Crafts session where children can get stuck in, try out different materials and create something to take home. It’s a great way to keep them busy, get creative and spend time with other children—and adults can get stuck in and join the fun too!

This one might get a little messy, so please dress children in clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

Storytime & Games

Date & Time:

Tuesday 31st March: 10am – 12pm

Expect a mix of lively games and storytelling, with plenty to keep the kids entertained. There’ll be chances to join in, use their imagination and burn off a bit of energy too.

A fun session with something for everyone—whether they want to sit and listen or get involved in the games.

Play Shack – Cardiff Council

Cardiff Council will be joining us again for Play Shack sessions as part of our Easter programme. These sessions are all about creative, hands-on play, giving children the chance to explore, build, imagine and get involved in their own way.

It’s a fun, active session with plenty to keep them busy, using a mix of materials and activities to spark their creativity.

Scavenger Hunt

Wednesday 1st April: 1pm – 3pm

The Easter Bunny is making an early visit to Llanrumney Hall, and we’re inviting everyone to get involved in our Easter scavenger hunt!

Come along, follow the clues and see what you can find as you explore the grounds. It’s a fun activity for all the family, with a bit of friendly competition along the way.

Easter Bonnet Parade, Party & Disco

Thursday 2nd April: 1pm – 3pm

It’s back! Last year it was amazing to see all the creative bonnets, and we can’t wait to do it all again this Easter.

Join us for an afternoon of fun with our Easter Bonnet Parade, followed by a party and disco!

Bring your best Easter bonnet and show it off in the parade, then stick around for music, dancing and plenty of Easter fun.

We’ll also be giving out a prize for our favourite bonnet on the day… so get creative!

Gardening

Date & Time:

Tuesday 7th April: 1pm – 3pm

Our gardening sessions will be running this Easter, giving children the chance to get stuck in and have a go at planting herbs, veg and sunflowers. Whether they’re trying it for the first time or already love being in the garden, everyone is welcome to get involved.

Spring is the perfect time to help things grow, and it’s a great way to spend some time outdoors as a family.

Please note this session may involve a bit of mess, so come dressed in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.

Mindful Minis Sessions

Wednesday 8th April: 1pm – 2pm

Friday 10th April: 12pm – 1pm

Our much-loved Mindful Minis will be joining us this Easter with two sessions—yoga and ecstatic dance.

These sessions give children the chance to move, stretch and take part in simple mindfulness activities, as well as enjoy music and free movement in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Board Games

Thursday 9th April: 1pm – 3pm

Join us for an afternoon of board games, with a mix of classics and favourites for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re feeling competitive or just want to have a bit of fun, there’ll be plenty to get involved in.
