Llanrumney Hall host a twice-weekly Youth Group in our Community Arts Shed giving the young people of Llanrumney and surrounding areas the room to grow and develop within themselves, network and make friends through team work and projects and motivates each young person to have fun and discover new life skills and feel part of the larger community.
The group is led by Chris and Chloe who are highly motivated to offer young people in the local areas more opportunities and interests which otherwise might not be accessible.
The Youth Group will take on a variety of tasks and projects each week, from working in the gardening polytunnel which directly feeds into the community Pantry supplying food and groceries to local people, to spear-heading the annual Halloween event we host and designing the decorations that go with it, to creating gnome and fairy trails to give younger children access to the site, and much more.
If you are interested in joining, all you have to do is pop down to The Hall on the day and ask for Chris or Chloe – they are friendly and will make you feel at home from day one!
When?
Wednesday’s: 3pm - 7pm (Ages 10 - 16)
Sunday’s: 1pm – 3pm (Ages 10 - 16)
