Summer Fete Itinerary & Information Guide

Updated: May 27, 2022

Here is where you can find all relevant information for the 2022 Llanrumney Hall Community Trust Summer Fete on Bank Holiday Thursday 2nd June.

Dates, Times and Travel:

  • The event will run from 11am – 4pm in the grounds of Llanrumney Hall and is completely FREE! However, we will have a donation point on the front entrance for those wishing to donate to our charity.

  • Please note this will mostly be a cash-only event.

  • The event will not be ticketed and so will not need prior booking. You simply turn up on the day and we will allow for as many visitors as we can accommodate. Once capacity is met, we will be operating on a one in, one out basis.

  • There will be no parking in our car park for the event. There will however be a limited number of spaces on the grassed area outside the Llanrumney Hall gates which will be available for parking. If you are a blue badge holder, we have a very limited number of disabled parking spaces so please call in advance to register your name and badge with our team so it can be reserved. If you are going to park in the surrounding areas we ask that you be conscious and considerate of local residents.

Events, Activities, Stalls, Food and More:

  • Llanrumney Hall’s new Café tenants, Thackeray At The Hall, will be providing the catering for our Summer Fete event with hot dogs, burgers and veggie options.

- And a whole lot more!

  • There will be independent retailers selling homemade hand-crafted goods from their stalls with items such as a handmade card stall, personalised gift shop, homemade honey, candles and wax melts and more.

  • Please note, all times listed in our itinerary poster below are not official and only act as a gauge. We advise when you come down to keep an open mind to what’s going on as it will change throughout the day. However, provided you are here for a couple of hours you are likely to see everything we have going on.

Volunteers:

  • We are still in need of additional volunteers for this event and any support you can provide us with would be greatly appreciated. Whether you can give an hour of your time or the full day, we would love for you to contact us and have you on the team.

  • Volunteers will be needed for the following:

  • Queue monitoring

  • Entrance and exit gate manning

  • Stall running

  • Drinks and food serving

  • Tidying up as we go along and at the end of the event
