With Christmas fast approaching, November and December alone are often financially challenging times for families, without the added strain of the national cost-of-living struggle. That’s why this Christmas, we are asking if any locals of Llanrumney could kindly donate any unwanted or unused toys to The Hall. We are asking for these toys to either be brand new or in excellent good condition so that they can be appropriately gifted to another child.
According to a 2021 UK survey, on average most children become bored of a toy within just 30 days. This means that the chances are, your child has a good condition toy lying around the house that might have never been taken out of its box that could put a smile on a child’s face for the second time in its useful life. If you are able to help us in this effort, we ask all donations to be dropped to the Llanrumney Hall reception between 9 and 5, Monday-Friday in the weeks leading to Christmas.
If you don’t have toys to donate but wish to enrich another family’s Christmas, then we are also welcoming luxury food items to be donated towards our Christmas Pantry Day on Wednesday 21st December. Please ensure that if these items are perishable, that their use by date exceeds the 21st of December when donating
As usual, we are also still accepting donations via our LocalGiving link which you can find here to which any monetary donations will go towards us purchasing the above asked for items.
Thank you for your continued support of our Trust, especially during Christmas!
