Here it is… the brand-new community music recording studio - the latest addition to the growing range of facilities at your local community centre.
This state-of-the-art studio was generously funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and is now up and running and will be available for hire very soon. It is kitted out with a range of music equipment, the latest music production and editing software, sound proofing and added security and aims to be a central point for aspiring musicians and artists to record their works.
A facility like this has been missing from the community for some time and with so much undiscovered talent amongst the young (and older) community of Llanrumney and further afield, we felt it was about time to provide what was needed.
The studio is currently being rented by a local teacher/musician who will be providing one-to-one classes for people looking to take up instruments such as the drums, piano, keyboard etc. The studio will also be available to rent for singers, rappers, DJ’s, sound engineers and more very soon.
We will be providing more details on how to hire the studio for recording and instrumentation lessons soon. Stay tuned and we hope you all support it to become a great success in providing more new opportunities for local people.
