The Anniversary of Llanrumney Hall Pantry
On Thursday the 6th of October, The Hall and the community celebrated The Llanrumney Hall Pantry’s 2nd Birthday. What a great day it was for our anniversary!
We wanted to take the time to say a huge thank you to everyone who made the day special and has been involved with The Pantry over the last 2 years.
The Pantry was set up in the height of lockdown and has been standing strong now for 24 whole months. In that time, we have served over 6,500 customers. This community facility started as something small to work on through lockdown and has turned into the heart of the Trust with customers who now depend on it. The cost-of-living crisis has excelled this need and we are glad to be able to help the community of Llanrumney.
This Pantry Thursday was no ordinary Thursday as we decided to go the extra mile! We hosted a raffle, decorated The Pantry, provided our members with recipe booklets, and thank you cards, offered sweet treats, and sourced extra produce to provide some extra value for our members shop for this special week.
