In December 2021, blue self storage saw a LinkedIn post about the Llanrumney Hall Pantry through our good friends and funders at CMB Engineering. They immediately got in touch to see how they could help support the facility and what it was that the community needed.
Since then, they have become one of our biggest and most consistent donors. Their staff have worked tirelessly to fundraise for The Hall and The Pantry and have delivered thousands of pounds worth of food and household essentials for us to distribute to the community during the cold and expensive Christmas period. They have also supported us two years in a row during the Easter period, donating hundreds of Easter Eggs to be given to the local children and this year have given us a cash donation to support our Easter half term activities.
The storage company, based in Cardiff, are renowned for providing affordable, secure storage for any items from household furniture to personal vehicles and have been making a very conscious effort to build upon their corporate social responsibility initiatives in the last few years. We are privileged to be a beneficiary of these donations and it goes without saying that the community are incredibly grateful for their donations also.
As a small charity, we know how difficult and time consuming it can be to do things for local groups and programmes and so we value greatly when businesses support our independent charity. It’s fantastic to see local organisations keen to contribute towards making sure children have an enjoyable time at Llanrumney Hall during their half term holidays - sponsors like blue self storage truly help us make it all happen for the community.
